Logan’s Doctor of Chiropractic curriculum is grounded in the Logan tradition and infused with current research, technology and proven practices to provide an unequalled educational foundation for tomorrow’s chiropractic leaders. Gaining hands-on experience in their first trimester, students deepen their knowledge and skills through a diverse range of clinical immersion opportunities and choose from 14 elective techniques—more than any other chiropractic college.

If you’ve taken courses at an institution using quarter credit or units other than semester credits, we will convert your quarter credits/units to semester credits. If you have attended an institution that uses quarter credits, you will not lose credits in the conversion. For example, if you have 40 quarter credits (40 x .666 = 26.64), you will receive 27 semester credits.

Credits completed at an international institution will be converted to Logan University credits using the average number of credits taken by a Logan University student (15 credits per semester). Total degree credits granted may not equal total course credits due to rounding in the conversion of fractional credits to semester hours.

A minimum grade of “C” is required for a course to transfer, with the exception of MBA courses which must have a minimum grade of B or higher to transfer. The grades you received at your previous institution(s) will not be calculated into your Logan University grade point average.

Transfer courses with descriptions that closely match the descriptions of courses taught at Logan University will generally transfer as direct course equivalent credits. For example, a doctorate level functional anatomy course at your previous institution will transfer as our FANT 10101 Functional Anatomy. Transfer courses that don’t have direct course equivalents at Logan University will transfer as elective credits within the appropriate academic department. For example, a technique course not offered at Logan University might satisfy a technique elective credit but not a required technique core course.

Advanced Placement, CLEP, Military, Life Experience and similar are not acceptable forms of credit in the Doctorate of Chiropractic degree.

Logan’s DHPE program is designed to provide health professionals the tools they need to become successful educators in their chosen health profession. This 100% online program provides busy working professionals the flexibility to complete their doctorate degree and maintain their current employment.
